Mini Rants, Thoughts, And Ideas

These things don't warrant their own article.

Stats On DVD
One idea that keeps getting tossed around (particularly between Andy & I, whenever we've been watching baseball) is this: Wouldn't it be great if I could get a DVD-Rom filled with the complete stats of every professional baseball (or any other sport) game in history?  If I'm watching a game, and suddenly want to know what Rickey Henderson's career stolen base percentage is (80.7%), I could just run a quick query on the database and get the answer.  Hell, I could look up Rickey's stolen base percentage with one out, a runner on third, and Roger Clemens pitching if I wanted to.

The obvious people to do this is the league itself - they must have the program already (those broadcasters have got to get those numbers from somewhere, right?) - so just release it!  I'd pay good money for something like that.  It'd satisfy my every baseball curiousity, and it could be done for other sports, too.

The Perfect Business For A Failed Entrepreneur
I was thinking the other day - what would be the perfect business for a failed entrepreneur? Say, someone who's failed at five or six different businesses? Why, a Motivational Speaker, of course. Someone like that's got to know a thing or two about motivation.
