Other Activities & Interests

What else do I do in my spare time? Here's a quick run-down; I do do more than just sit in front of a computer, you know.

- I play a number of sports. Baseball, golf, wakeboarding, kneeboarding, tubing, skiing (downhill), and occasionally basketball or ultimate frisbee if I get the chance.
- Pool, foosball, air hockey...are these sports?
- Canadian politics...to an extent.
- Camping, cottaging, and boating
- Sailing - I used to race on Lake Ontario on my Dad's CS 30 (Interestingly enough, this review was written by Pat Sturgeon, a friend of Dad's from the racing days). I haven't sailed much since, but my brother Chris and I keep talking about buying a boat for the cottage. My vote is for a 29er (But we can't quite afford one yet, and all the used ones I can find are in England or Australia...).
- Movies...I'm a big movie fan, but don't watch any TV (except for sporting events).
- Scouting (I still help out with stuff).

Obviously, I'm also interested in computers, the Internet, and music - and particularly in things that involve all three.

Things I'd like to do in the future:

- Bungee jumping, skydiving, parasailing, etc.
- Tour Europe
- Rock climbing
- Go really, really far north
